The Walking Paths group maintain and plan many walks in and around Strathblane.
The Walking Paths group uses materials and techniques to use for the various paths. New paths are being discovered and are improved. The drainage installation and surface repairs to the Garry Wright Way have been completed and the scheduled work protecting the gate area to the football field is complete with a new compacted surface and drainage. As machinery could not be used on much of this work owing to infrastructure/Scottish Water objections, about 100m of ditch had to be hand dug by paths group members and other volunteers.
